Masterplan Vision
Welcome to the Calderglen & Chatelherault Consultations
South Lanarkshire Council have been working with a multidisciplinary design team to undertake a master planning exercise for Chatelherault and Calderglen Country Parks.
The Masterplans will set out the context for development and investment in the parks over the next 10 years, and will reflect the shared aspiration to maintain Chatelherault and Calderglen as regional destinations, offering vibrant and welcoming facilities which are linked to, and contribute towards, the regeneration of surrounding communities.
This website has been developed to share the newly developed vision and themes developed for each Country Park following extensive public consultation and gather views on a range of investment opportunities which have been carefully designed to address priorities identified by park users and our local communities.
The completed Masterplans will create a catalyst for change, and targeted project interventions will help to secure funding to deliver a wide range of benefits to the park users and local communities, while at the same time securing the future of both parks for generations to come.
